Our story begins in 2011. Our country was coming out of the real estate recession of 2008, and we were looking for ways to help our neighbors and our community. We decided to open a new hardware store in Sylvania. We joined with Ace, “The Helpful Hardware Place”, to provide our neighbors with the products, services and professional assistance they need in our community, with a personal touch. No long drives, crowds or lines and multi-acre parking lots to deal with. We chose to be a half-block down from where Chandler's Hardware Store had been for a hundred years. Our team brings decades of experience in all facets of the business, building, remodeling, home repair, painting and hardware.

In 2014 we expanded by opening a new Ace store, this time in Point Place, where another Ace store had closed the year before. Because of where we're located, we expanded our product offerings to include marine products.
